Class.com grew from a research and development project at the University of Nebraska aimed at applying research about cognition and learning, to creating a curriculum for students who are underserved in traditional settings. Cross-disciplinary teams of instructional designers, subject-matter experts, classroom teachers, multimedia developers and software engineers have developed standards-based courses to ensure that all students have an opportunity to succeed.
