Villanova University Collaborates with Pearson to Launch Four Online Master's Degree Programs
To meet the demand for increased access to online graduate education programs, Villanova University and Pearson Embanet, a unit of Pearson Online Learning Services, announced today a joint effort to create four online master's degree programs. Under the agreement, Pearson will provide a full suite of student support and retention services, instructional design assistance, marketing, recruitment and helpdesk services.

Pearson to Host 15th Annual Online Learning in Higher Education Conference
Pearson will host its 15th annual online learning in higher education conference (Cite), which will feature compelling keynote and general session speakers and more than 60 concurrent sessions. The three-day conference brings together more than 500 higher education online learning program executives, faculty and administrators to share in the discussion and exchange of information on innovative learning strategies across a broad range of education programs in the online environment. The event will be held April 1-3 in Fort Worth, TX at the Omni Fort Worth Hotel.

Pearson Chosen by the University of Florida to Promote UF Online's New Bachelor's Degree Programs
Pearson has expanded its relationship with the University of Florida (UF) to launch UF Online for baccalaureate degree programs. UF Online is targeted to qualified, first-time-in-college and transfer students who are seeking the rigor of the university's degree programs in a flexible online environment. Through the relationship, Pearson will grow enrollment and provide support to the university with technology, e-Textbooks (if instructors request), recruitment marketing, enrollment management, student support and retention services, as well as support for research in UF's Online Research Institute. UF will maintain ownership of all decisions related to curricula, faculty, admission and enrollment standards.
